Terms of Use

These terms apply to your use of Mapora, published by Rex Le. They supplement Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. If they conflict, Apple’s agreement controls for matters it covers.

Drive safely

Navigation is a guide, not a substitute for your judgment. Always obey traffic laws, posted signs and road conditions. Maps, addresses and directions can be incomplete, out of date or wrong, and some roads or destinations may be closed, restricted or unsafe. Do not operate the app while driving except as safely allowed by law. You are responsible for how you use it.

License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Mapora on Apple devices you own or control. You may not copy, reverse engineer or resell the app, or use it to build a competing service, except as permitted by the open-source licences that apply to its components.

Mapora Pro and subscriptions

Some features may require Mapora Pro. The price and length of any free trial are shown in the app before you buy. Payment is charged to your Apple ID. A subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; a free trial converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled before it ends. Manage or cancel in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple.

Data sources and attribution

Map data © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database Licence (ODbL).
Address data: U.S. Department of Transportation National Address Database (public domain), distributed through Overture Maps Foundation.
Mapora is based on Organic Maps, open-source software licensed under the Apache License 2.0. Mapora is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Organic Maps project.
Online search suggestions use Apple Maps (MapKit). Use of Apple Maps data is at your sole risk and is subject to Apple’s terms.

No warranty

Mapora is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss, injury, fine or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the app or its data. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which the publisher is located, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
