Navigation that works when your signal doesn’t.
Mapora is turn-by-turn GPS for iPhone and iPad. Download your maps once, and keep getting voice directions, re-routing and address search with no cell service and no Wi-Fi.
Where offline matters
- Road trips and rural areas — coverage gaps between towns and in the mountains.
- Parks, trails and campgrounds — far from the nearest tower.
- Tunnels and garages — keep your route when the signal vanishes.
- Disasters and outages — maps that still work when networks are down.
- Save data — navigate without using your mobile plan.
What you get
- Offline maps and routing for the United States, downloaded by state.
- Offline address search with door-level addresses (download the address pack for your state).
- Spoken turn-by-turn directions, automatic re-routing, route preview and step-by-step list.
- Alternative routes with arrival times, speed limit display, and speed camera warnings where map data exists.
- Driving, walking and cycling; avoid highways and tolls; fastest or shortest route.
- No account, no ads, no analytics or trackers. Your location stays on your device.
How offline works
Open Mapora with a connection, download the states you’ll drive through, and you’re set. Maps and routing then work without any connection. Online suggestions and any map updates need a connection, so download before you leave.
Offline routing and search cover only the states you’ve downloaded. Speed limit and camera information depends on OpenStreetMap data and may be missing or out of date. Always obey posted signs.
